It's been a while since my last post, I know. Let's just say that despite the joys of family and life in general, there are things that get us down, some more than others; dealing with it is taking a lot of energy, and a lot of things have fallen by the wayside - The Fear, The Sundering, The Journey happening to be one of those things.
I won't call it all bad. Mr Tax Man is going to be quite nice to me this year (or should I say that I need to ask my employer to stop withholding so much of my pay as tax, because I could be earning interest on a part of that); with that, and holidays fast approaching (that's right Texas, I'm coming back), and an early opening for my plan to have The Torment, The Shadow, The Heart formally edited, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Sadly, the bite into FSJ means I'm definitely giving up the October finish - not even going to try getting back on the bandwagon as I'll do more damage to myself than good. So I'm going to leave it open to a 2013/14 finishing date, and try and find some writing time this trip and in the coming months.
The History of Talbadas, too, is a bit of a no-go zone for me to. Again, no promises to blog here or there, it'll come out when its ready (and it should be soon because I'm fascinated with engineering an epic RPG - the last time I did that 6 years ago, an unsung hero named Halm Dresden popped out!).
So there you have it. FSJ done when its done, HoT back when its back, but rest assured that the journey of Halm Dresden is far from over - and I'm certainly not giving up on him. You'll certainly hear about it here (and repeated on FB and maybe Twitter though I don't care much for it).
Thus until next time, old viewers and new, have a good one. And if you have some words about TSH, add your review to Goodreads or Amazon.com (or over at Barnes & Noble - I'm everywhere nowadays!), or pop me a message up here. Good or bad, I want to hear your thoughts.
Glad to be back,
T. M. Shannon
